How are herbal extracts taken?

Herbal extracts are taken on or under the tongue, mixed with fruit juice or used externally, as indicated.  When used internally, they are carried through the tongue or stomach walls almost directly into the blood stream and thus, bypass the nearly 26 feet of tortured digestive tract.  When applied externally to the skin, herbal extracts are rapidly absorbed and enter the blood stream within seconds.  They go where they are supposed to go and do what they are supposed to do.

Children's dosage

For children 25-50 pounds, use 1/3 of the dosage given.

For children 51-75 pounds, use 1/2 of the dosage given.

For children 76-100 pounds, use 2/3 of the dosage given.

For children above 100 pounds, use full dosage given.

For infants and small babies

Usually, a practitioner works with one drop on the tongue at a time, then the affect is noted before administering more. Wait a few minutes before you give more and, in general, do not exceed 5 to 10 drops at a time.

External use for everyone

If using the herb externally, use whatever is necessary to cover the area, such as the soles of the feet, the length of the spine and back of the neck, on the chest and/or abdomen.
