We are a family owned, home-based, online distributor of the finest herbs. The company was started by Iris Sylvia in 1997. 

We have had an online presence for more than 20 years.  Our original location was Phoenix, Arizona.  We moved our facility to South Carolina in 2005.

In October 2002, Iris Sylvia received her Chartered Herbalist Diploma from Dominion Herbal College in British Columbia, Canada. This course is the foundation course in North American Herbal studies and has students worldwide. Some notable alumni include Dr. Bernard Jensen, Dr. John Christopher, Jethro Kloss and Dr. Earl Mindell. Dominion Herbal College is an Accredited and Registered Private Post Secondary Institution. It was founded in 1926 by a naturopathic physician, Dr. Herbert Nowell.

Iris Sylvia is also a Certified Herbal Extract Specialist, certified by the Carolina Natural Health Institute.

In 2015 Iris officially retired and handed the company off to her son, Joe Gernert, although she still serves in an advisory role.

Joe spent 20+ years as a game designer for such prestigious game studios as: Westwood Studios (Command and Conquer), EA (Battle for Middle Earth), PetroGlyph (Star Wars: Empire at War), and MoonFrog Studios (Baahubali: The Game).

He now splits his time between the Herb Store and as an independent Game Maker.
